Tomorrow is a long time.

For those who cared deeply about Elvis Presley's musik, the sixties were sometimes more frustrating than rewarding. HOW GREAT YOU ARE was the only non-soundtrack a of new recordings between POT LUCK in 1962 and FROM ELVIS IN MEMPHIS in 1969. During that time, there were two GOLDEN RECORDS collections: two grab-bag albums. ELVIS FOR EVERYONE and FLAMING STAR : the ELVIS NBC-TV special soundtrack: and thirteen movie soundtrack albums. All the while, Elvis was making non-soundtrack recordings in Nashville. Although few in number, the Nashville sessions were generally high in quality and, to this day. They remain underappreciated. A 1991 collection, THE LOST ALBUM, gatheted the 1963-1964 Nashville Recordings, and this set gathers those made between 1966 and 1968. TOMORROW IS A LONG TIME is an album that could have been... but wasn't.
